Issues with installing behind a proxy

kept getting errors on the tasks that run those external roles (`geerlingguy.packer' and 'lae.proxmox' all timout errors, I could confirm with a simple curl). since then I basically had to just add the 'enviroment:' to the playbooks/tasks.

I have yet to see the error happen with the packer builds, but is there a way to slip in a way to pull in the system variables? or a config input option specifically for systems behind a proxy?

my apologies if I'm going outside decorum.. .but is this more a feature request than issue?
