I only hear myself / the other side
I also tried this
$ adb shell pm grant com.github.axet.callrecorder android.permission.CAPTURE_AUDIO_OUTPUT Operation not allowed: java.lang.SecurityException: Permission android.permission.CAPTURE_AUDIO_OUTPUT is not a changeable permission type
with no success. And I know, that most phones does not support call recording.
But with call-recorder-for-android it is working wonderful. So I think it can be fixed for my phone. What is the difference between these apps? Maybe you have an idea or even know the app.
I also found this permission denial:
W/BroadcastQueue( 7186): Permission Denial: receiving Intent { act=android.intent.action.PHONE_STATE flg=0x10 (has extras) } to ProcessRecord{7af7f2 13059:com.github.axet.callrecorder/u0a78} (pid=13059, uid=10078) requires android.permission.READ_PRIVILEGED_PHONE_STATE due to sender android (uid 1000)
Tested on LineageOS / Android 7.1.2.
I'm happy to help with more debugging to fix the problem.
