Magisk v1.7.13 works, v1.7.14 updated via F-Droid broke call recording

Hi,

thanks for your great app. First, I started using this app by installing it from the Magisk modules page (v1.7.13). I've recently received an update via F-Droid to v1.7.14. After the update was completed successfully, an outgoing call was performed and Call Recorder gave me a short toast message "... ENOPERM no permission ...".

I started to wonder as I expected it to still work properly but it didn't and uninstalled the Magisk Module which allowed me later to remove the app completely via "Settings > Apps > Call Recorder > Remove".

I've now reinstalled v1.7.13 via Magisk Module (just like the first time before) and call recording immediately worked again. I can't get it to work with v1.7.14.

I'd appreciate if you could tell me if it's okay to update the Magisk-installed app version (system app?!) by F-Droid or if it is expected to break doing so. If okay, which info/logs would you require to investigate the problem?
