Using --privileged in ADE Causes sudo to Stop Working
Description
Using the --privileged
flag when launching ADE causes a mismatch between the hostname in /etc/hosts
and that in /etc/hostname
which causes using sudo
to fail, as described in this StackOverflow question.
How to Reproduce
Source .aderc-lgsvl
and then:
ade start
ade enter
sudo echo "stuff"
The above example displays the behavior but also produces the desired output. However, if you attempt to edit a read-only file with sudo
, you get the same result but can not edit the file because the sudo
permissions are not being correctly applied.
Current Behavior
sudo
does not apply proper Super User permissions.
Expected behavior
sudo
should work as usual.
