project unmaintained?

Currently, the project looks very dead to me and I have decided to establish an alternative in typescript myself (https://www.npmjs.com/package/pdfdataextract).

What is the status of this project? There hasn't been an update for about 2 years and pull requests and issues are no longer handled.
