Mutlit-lingual support
Copy-paste

(might want to copy past the google doc https://docs.google.com/document/d/1DX0C5dO9m_H9i-KLphd16piSNcaQv9LLC2xzJnWJSSM/edit conversation)
And then from comments of that doc (because it's going to the bins)

I so blatantly did not think is this

Supporting other languages requires translators, so hopefully we could get those!!
Simon Vansintjan
Hopefully! At least this way we can keep in mind what to look for.
I speak Dutch and can help there, but that's probably not a High Priority language to get translated to.
Lynn Cyrin
Honestly if we have the idea to support alternative languages at all then all we need is to write the code that supports it and from there we can add as many as we want
Simon Vansintjan
If it's not something that we should be including from the start (or, alternatively, we can safely assume most of the initial users will speak English) maybe it's not necessary to include it in this round?
Lynn Cyrin
Mmmmm, maybe? I think it goes against the idea of launching as soon as is reasonable to try to include this in the first round survey.
Evan Cofsky
This also strongly suggests we should build it from the beginning to allow easy translation.
Lynn Cyrin
Yea if you build something to be translatable from the start as opposed to adding it in later it's a ton less work in the long run
As far as writing content that's easily translatable: my experience is that this is mainly done through just having smaller snippets of text, rather than long prose. My main concern here is having relevant Terms and Conditions in multiple languages. That's some legalese.
