This version completes the port to Debian Stretch.
Everything should now be roughly on par with v1.0 in terms of
features and stability, but further testing and tuning is still
needed.

The current version of the codebase has been mostly stable and working ok on the Wheezy version of Raspbian for a couple of years now, however it is starting to show its age. Before moving on I'm tagging this version as 1.0 for anyone who wants to pick it up.
