(Redmi Note 8 [ginkgo]) All Ongoing Downloads Stop and WhatsApp Web Disconnects When the Screen is Off
I am facing a bug on the latest version of ArrowOS 11.0 OFFICIAL GAPPS edition (Arrow-v11.0-ginkgo-OFFICIAL-20210801-GAPPS.zip) on my Redmi Note 8 (ginkgo). If I turn the phone screen off or it turns off by itself due to screen timeout when I download anything either through browser or Play Store using Wi-Fi, it will be stopped (does not continue and stuck at the same percentage, unless the screen is turned on again) and at some cases it eventually shows "download error" message (when download is done through browser). Steps to reproduce: 1. Use Wi-Fi as the sole internet connection, disconnect the mobile data. 2. Browse something to download from web browser/Play Store. 3. Download it. 4. After the download has started at least quarter or half of it, turn the screen off or let the screen off by itself, just make sure the download has not completed before the screen turns off (in my case, the screen timeout is one minute) 5. Wait for at least two to five minutes or estimate when the download should be done by your internet speed. 6. Turn the screen back on. 7. Notice closely, you'll see that the download is not being done, it just stuck at the same percentage/rate as when you leave the screen off, or at least increase a bit, one or two percent (download does not continue at all when the screen is off) 8. Download will suddenly continues after you turn the screen back on. 9. If try to turn the screen back off then turn it on again, the very same thing will happen. 10. At some case when the download is done by web browser, an error message "download error" will appear when you turn the screen on. WhatsApp web always disconnects when the screen is off/turned off for some period of time when I use Wi-Fi (for short period of time, not as long as WhatsApp web usually disconnects when the phone screen turns off). Sometimes at first any message can't be sent, then it disconnects. Sometimes it suddenly disconnects. It won't reconnect unless the screen is turned back on. Steps to reproduce: 1. Use Wi-Fi as the sole internet connection, disconnect the mobile data. 2. Open WhatsApp then connect it to WhatsApp web/Link your phone WhatsApp to PC, check the "keep me signed in" section. 3. Leave it for sometime (five to ten minute), just make sure the phone is still connected to the Wi-Fi 4. You'll se that WhatsApp web will disconnect or if you send any message, it'll keep loading for long time (the message is not sent), then it just disconnects. 5. Turn the screen back on WhatsApp web will reconnect. 6. Yes, WhatsApp will usually disconnect when the screen is off for some period of time (hours) even tough you have internet connection, but It is not that short (five or ten minutes) that I have to repeatedly turn my phone screen on to reconnect. Looks like these two issues above have some kind of connection. I've attached the logcat here.[logcat.txt](/uploads/3bdcb5c609d82e9a0dc4eca66c23bf46/logcat.txt) Thank you for all the good work, keep it up!
