Peer support for Native IPv6?
The 6bed4 design is an overlay for UDP/IPv4. This is useful for the supply of IPv6 to hosts or applications.
Another use of the 6bed4 design is the facilitation of peer-to-peer networks, possibly on detached overlay addresses such as
fc00::/7 local addresses (with
fc00::/8 for administratively assigned, and
fd00::/8 for random continuations). Such networks are IPv4-only when facilitated on 6bed4. How ironic!
Could it be possible to overlay 6bed4 over UDP/IPv6 too, as an alternative to facilitate this other use over IPv6 connections? The overlay would still pass raw IPv6 between applications.
