HPCG complements the High Performance LINPACK (HPL) benchmark. It is designed to exercise computational and data access patterns that more closely match a different and broad set of important applications.
The setup directory contains a config files for GCC, for example setup/Make.MPI_GCC_OMP will build for GCC with MPI and OpenMP support. This configuration can be selected by passing MPI_GCC_OMP as an argument to HPCG's configure script:
