"Take a Screenshot" does not launch after clicked until you open and close Activities Overview

Observed Behaviour

This is a strange bug that I encountered when trying to take a screenshot while experiencing issues with my keyboard.

After clicking "Take a screenshot" from ArcMenu, nothing will happen.

image

The screenshot application will only launch after opening and closing Activities Overview, seemingly by any means like clicking the button in ArcMenu or using keyboard shortcuts. (Unfortunately, I cannot think of an easy way to record myself attempting to record myself.)

The screenshot application will launch normally if you use the keyboard shortcut.

Expected Behaviour

The screenshot application should launch immediately after clicking "Take a Screenshot".

How to Reproduce

  1. Open ArcMenu
  2. Search for "Screenshot"
  3. Click "Take a Screenshot"
  4. Nothing should happen.
  5. Open and then close the activities overview

System Information

This is on a fresh install of Fedora 37:

$ cat /etc/os-release
NAME="Fedora Linux"
VERSION="37 (Workstation Edition)"
ID=fedora
VERSION_ID=37
VERSION_CODENAME=""
PLATFORM_ID="platform:f37"
PRETTY_NAME="Fedora Linux 37 (Workstation Edition)"

The only Gnome Extensions I have enabled are ArcMenu and Background Logo (system extension).

I've only recently switched to Gnome so I apologize if there's any obvious debugging or log info that I haven't included -- I'm happy to provide any additional info that might be useful.
