ArcMenu v47 has been released

We are pleased to announce the release of ArcMenu version 47, this is another release for bug fixes, code refactoring and a few UI/UX changes and some really awesome feature additions, as always suggestions and feedback are welcome.

ArcMenu version 47 is now Live on Gnome extensions

You will need to be running one of the following gnome-shell versions for v47;

  • Gnome-shell 3.36

  • (1) New menu layout “tognee Menu” created by tognee https://gitlab.com/tognee
  • (2) Add Alphabetize 'All Programs' tweak that groups all programs into an alphabetized order

Enhancements:

  • Improve mouse scrolling speed and smoothness
  • Update keyboard navigation
  • Update the coloring of tooltips and application context menus for better contrast (when in override menu theme mode)
  • Update various larger icon layouts to have less wasted space
  • Bold application title label on tooltips when description is showing.
  • Hide tooltips when item not active.

Fixes:

  • Fix session buttons not appearing on search in grid layouts
  • Fix session buttons not appearing in search on KRunner layout
  • Fix scrollview fade effect when multiple scrollviews present
  • Fix application title not showing in tooltips on search results when label is ellipsized
