Antora Playbook example: docs.antora.org
(This is more of a feature request) Perhaps we could use this repo as an illustration of Antora Playbooks? I would find it helpful if the "playbook" aspects were more obvious, because I found the concept to be a little subtle and abstract, particularly the suggestion that the playbook not contain content.
For example, in the Fedora doc (Antora repo), they use the site.yml
to build the site and also as a playbook.
The Playbook chapter describes the contents of a playbook file, but it doesn't AFAIK provide an example of a playbook repo, its filenames and directories, .gitignore
, etc.
Another source of confusion is the the instructions on how to use an existing playbook suggest that the playbook repo is cloned and then used as a starting point for a new doc. That sounds to me like a traditional File...Save As...
workflow with no link back to the original playbook. Perhaps that could be made more clear here?
