Shrink height of sidebar navigation to fit
The default UI uses sticky positioning to make the side navigation move out of the way to make room for the footer as the page is scrolled. As a result, the top of the navigation slides under the topbar, cutting it off. Not only is this unexpected, support for sticky positioning in browsers is spotty and buggy in general. Instead, the sidebar should shrink to fit within the available space. Once it shrinks down to the height of a single line, it should disappear. This behavior ca be seen implemented in the Couchbase UI. See https://docs.couchbase.com/server/6.0/introduction/intro.html.
