how to stop pulse-recorder.py

Hi!

I've been trying pulse recorder so I can record interviews done over zoom. In my testing though I haven't figured out how to stop the recording properly. When I quit the program that is being recorded it doesn't exit. Pressing enter does nothing. I can kill it with ctl+C in the terminal I ran it but then it doesn't run the cleanup function. What is the intended method to stop the recording? I'm on ubuntu 20.04.
