Last-will/shutdown message

Hi! Is it possible to send some message on shutdown, or use last-will (I'm not very familiar with MQTT, probably this is what we need) feature and set all items into 'unknown' state? Right now, after I shutdown my engraver I still see 'Idle' status in my HA, so I have to use something like 'ping' to check if OPi board is on.
