widget size when used vertically

Hi, Not sure if you can help out.

When using the widget in a vertical panel, the widget-size is rather huge.

Shrinking the text-size the widget seems to enlarge the widget by a twitch.

Would it be possible to adjust the size dynamically according to the text-size.
