[TESTING] - HNP Pump with by-pass module
Now that we have the ByPass module from HNP we can start testing the old pump located in lab2. Its manual can be found here. More details about this pump can be found in this issue. The manual for the stepper motor driver module is this.
There are two parts to work on before testing:
Fluidic Connections
- With a first glance the pump fits well with the module
My only concern is that it doesnt "lock" to the module with a screw or something. So the only meassures to avoid leaks are the weight of the pump and two O-rings at the pump outlets. I'm not very happy with this and we might have to make a patenta to "lock" the pump at the module.
This is more straightforward, we should just try to find if we have the appropriate connectors in the lab else buy/DIY new ones.
Electrical control
- Firstly we need to solder connectors/cables to the pump. As I see the pads, they don't match with some connector. So we will have to solder the cables directly to the pump.
- The driving of the pump is dependent on this issue
