native slackware network service (rc.inet1)
Created by: eleksir
There is no script that can run already setup Slackware native network services.
I'm not openrc guru - tl;dr - but networking it an essential part of os. If you dig into this question deeper, you'll see that Alpine linux does not use gentoo-style network configuration stuff, instead they use debian' "ifupdown" stuff. I really like slackware native method with /etc/rc.d/rc.netdevice , /etc/rc.d/rc.inet1 and /etc/rc.d/rc.firewall and plus /etc/rc.d/rc.NetworkManager (for wi-fi).
There is some pretty complex networking set up in my slackware with it's native methods, so i'd like to ask you to put in your services init helpers slackware native network subsystem init scripts.
By the way for slackware users classic method is preferred one, because it is default and described in manuals, gentoo-way of network configuration is not described in slackware doc, so leaving old fashioned configs is a good style in this and many "like-this" cases.
