%HO accepts hexadecimal numbers prefixed by 0x or 0X
Final Release Note
The %HO utility program to convert strings representing hexadecimal numbers to strings representing octal numbers accepts strings starting with a case-independent "0x"
. [#682 (closed)]
Description
%HD was previously enhanced by #44 (closed) to work on hexadecimal numbers with a 0x prefix. However, %HO was not enhanced so it currently returns 0 instead of the correct octal conversion for the hexadecimal number.
Draft Release Note
The %HO utility program accepts hexadecimal numbers with a 0x or 0X prefix just like the %HD utility program has since YottaDB r1.10.
