The ad-blocking option existed before tetrio added the option to disable ads directly in the client settings. However, this option is still recommended because even if you disable ads, tetrio will *still load the ad script* though it won't *show* any ads. Thus it still functions as a privacy feature since it blocks the source script instead of simply hiding the ads.
