Remove no longer used variable. · 20387fce
      WinterFairy authored
According to git log it has been used to decide
which languages to display in a syslinux menu,
and which languages to generate mo-files for.

      Both uses are deprecated already.

Don't add "quiet" to the kernel command-line ourselves. · db469857
      Tails developers authored
Else, it appears twice as live-build's lb_binary_syslinux adds it too.

Historically, we've been adding it ourselves on top of that because some other
live-build's bootloader config handling scripts (such as lb_binary_yaboot) do
not add it, but since we gave up the PowerPC support attempt, we're now only
interested in syslinux, so let's make it easier for the general case, e.g.
when one wants to remove the "quiet" parameter as suggested by our faulty
      startup debugging documentation.

Remove obsolete noswap boot parameter. · 7df60153
      Tails developers authored
live-boot has been respectful of the "swap is opt-in" rule since the last time
we fixed it there, that is almost 3 years ago. There is no parameter like noswap
to *disable* swap anymore, but only the swapon parameter that allows to enable
it. Therefore, it looks like we can safely simplify our configuration a bit, and
      stop carrying such obsolete stuff.

      Re-enable console autologin. · c83e24cc
      Tails developers authored
We don't want the user to have to type their password using a keyboard layout
they did not choose, so we should autologin.

However, keep X11 autologin disabled, so that tails-greeter runs.
