Creating a new class in resource view shows no visual response
Summary
UI bug when creating a new class potentially leads to many redundant, non-deletable classes.
related to orkg-curation#2 and #1582
When bug occurs (steps to reproduce).
In Resource view edit the Class affiliation called Instance of:
type any #name and choose create "#name"
. A pop-up opens (called Are you sure you need a new class?) with #name already locked. No further info needs to be put in. The button Create class
to the lower right would not make the pop-up disappear giving the impression no new class was created.
What is the current bug behavior?
Each time the Create class
-Button is hit it creates a new class, potentially leading to many identically named classes because the user receives no feedback whether a class was created or not.
What is the expected correct behavior?
The pop-up should close with a notification that a class of the given name has been created.
What Operating System and web browser are you using?
Firefox 119.0.1 on Win10
