Using volume slider leads to crash with http stream

When trying to use the volume slider in uMPD the app just closes, no error message or anything else visible, This happens on Fairphone2, rc, version 68, and on a bq aquaris HD M10, dev, version 493 as well. It happens only when MPD on the server is issueing a http stream.

The app closes as soon as the slider button is released after sliding it.

With e.g. an additional pulseaudio output, or just the pulseaudio output running on the server it works correctly.
