In this tutorial we are creating a new mission for the Spring:1944 campaign. This tutorial will cover the whole mission generation, except the map generation, which is in fact already documented here.
While we are just considering GNU/Linux Operating Systems, the tutorial can be easily adapted to other platforms.
You'll maybe not need to buy a new computer. Well, it depends on the map you are considering. Anyway, take into account that Spring-104 + SpringBoard + Spring:1944 is probably the most expensive game, in computational terms, that you can consider in Spring engine ecosystem. We are so far suggesting that you'll need a mid-term computer. More specifically, this tutorial has been deployed in a AMD FX(tm)-8320 (8 cores) computer, with 16GB RAM memory, and an AMD R9-290 graphic card.
Also you'll need to have installed SpringLobby (probably your GNU/Linux distribution has already a precompiled package for you), with spring-104 engine.
