The second version of the NetIDE Engine is not only a bugfix release but
it also introduces a number of new features in many of its components.

In particular, both Ryu backend and shim layer now support LLDP
messages, the Floodlight backend has added the support for flowMod
messages while the OpenDaylight shim layer now supports LLDP packets and
has been updated to work with Opendaylight Helium sr3.
