The second version of the NetIDE Engine is not only a bugfix release but it also introduces a number of new features in many of its components. In particular, both Ryu backend and shim layer now support LLDP messages, the Floodlight backend has added the support for flowMod messages while the OpenDaylight shim layer now supports LLDP packets and has been updated to work with Opendaylight Helium sr3.
