This is an issue caused by Optifine/Immersive Portals or similar mods. These projects directly hack into fundamental, internal Minecraft code which impacts on this mod in unpredictable ways because we are relying on the original Minecraft code. If you can reproduce your issue without Optifine/Immersive Portals/Similar types of mods, we can consider looking into it. Otherwise, sorry we cannot do anything about this issue.

This issues has been addressed for the next version. The user is free to follow up to confirm this issue is resolved after the user receives a version that contains the patch.
