Strange behaviour on showing red dots in the map

Map positions close in the horizontal axis render red dots instead icons.

However when there is a position between them in the horizontal axis but "far away" in the vertical, the icons render instead the red dots.

Expected behavior: red dots should render only when icons are to close and a new position "far away" in the map shouldn't affect this behavior.
