Getting message that VNC plugin is not installed even though it is

I use the remmina-next ppa on Ubuntu 14.04
Using the lastest VNC plugin (1.1.1-1+742+next+201504151816~ubuntu14.04.1) I am getting an error message that the Protocol VNC plugin is not installed.
To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
