ROI-based Taufit
Hi Anders and Chen,
It would be convenient to be able to do a TauFit analysis of a particular ROI of an image (or image series). This would be a square ROI or any other type of ROI. Considering Mia, Phasor and ParticleDetection all have image handling features implemented, I wonder what the best strategy would be.
In our particular case, we have images containing single viruses. Therefore it would be most convenient to do particle detection and then transfer particles with particular characteristics (e.g. photon counts or A/D ratio) to Taufit. Sort of a subensemble taufit, but then for images, not burst data. With respect to the latter, I've had the idea for a long time to make a 'burst browser for images', so we can do single molecule analysis for images recorded with PIE.
What are your thought on both of the above?
greetings Jelle
