Floating Rates NPC adjustment
Description
TL;DR: After the price increase, floating rates have failed on their purpose. Fix: Lower price (similar to what it was before), reduce floating rates BASE duration and INCREASE max duration, maybe reduce cooldown.
Rationale
Floating rates have not been activated since the price increase, thus negating its whole purpose of sinking zeny generated in the server. It was increased due to the sudden rise in population, since then, the population has declined a bit and now seems rather stable, at a higher amount it was before, but lower than it was when this change was implemented, so the current price doesn't seem to adjust to the situation.
To fix the issue I propose the following:
1.- Reduce the Price to something similar it was before, so it is rather easy to activate
2.- Reduce the duration from 2 days to 1 day
3.- Create a system that, after the goal has been met, it gives a global broadcast announcing floating rates will begin at the next hour mark, and how many days are active, versus how many can be active (read point 4 for this).
4.- Create a system that allows people throw more money at the NPC to extend the floating rates duration up (by 1 hour or 1 day) to a maximum of 4~7 days (with increasing or decreasing prices, personal opinion, decreasing price, so day 2 would be a lot more expensive to activate than day 7).
5.- Optional: Reduce the cooldown of the floating rates or make them vary according to how long the previous floating rates lasted (something like 3-5 days of cooldown per active floating day)
These changes will make it easier to activate floating rates, so if a singular person decides to activate them, they can easily do so to level up their own character, this also prevents the past griefing of activating floating rates during a bad Monster of the Day, encourages people to activate floating rates more often on "mid tier" Monster of the Days, accelerates the zeny sinking process by reducing the cooldown, promotes server-wide cooperation by encouraging other people to "keep it running".
Another option is to just return to what we had previously, but I think this option is more interactive and fun.
