Woe needs to be closed for a period in the interest of the server and fairness. The castle is largely uncontested for around a month now people have not wanted to show up to attack and now people are not wanting to show up to defend. I nor none of my other players want to stand at a bottleneck and ruwach / sight for an hour.
From out prospective the reason woe closing is problematic is because we stand to lose the most and have invested zeny and time. We could just as easily use this investment of time / zeny as a reason to keep woe open indefinitely and reap the benefits but this is not a fair situation for anyone as well as dose not help promote a new fresh competitive environment. Investment in the castle has been made according to the possibility of competition and the castle staying open for months as such a considerable amount of zeny has been spent and time gathering that zeny. I wont share finances in the open but what we stand to gain by woe closing this week compared to what was expected the losses are considerable. I ask on behalf of my members and the guilds treasury for reasonable compensation. Of course we have benefited from a partial amount of investment so a calculable adjustment is in order.
Either way woe needs to be closed and SOMETHING needs to be done to incentivize people to woe. With woe slowing down so has the server arguably numbers appear decent possibly because of re start or other unknown factors. But it is my opinion after being on and monitoring oRO and its new players for almost a year now that the majority of population now wont last come the fall semester / passage of time.
