## Rationale
Ore Discovery (http://wiki.originsro.org/wiki/Ore_Discovery) is a skill that adds a small chance for an ore to be discovered once a monster is killed. For a server with 5x drop rate such as oRO, possessing such a skill in it's original form is of small use; the gathered ores are too few compared to the monster's own loot to make a real difference. In fact, the expected increase on the value of the overall loot broght by the Ore Discovery skill is up to **5 times smaller** on oRO than it is on servers with original drop rates.
The following example ilustrates this:
> Let's suppose a fictional monster called Originsring drops, at a 1x drop rate server, the item Jellopy (**3z** sell value) with a **10%** chance. Also, that an alternative version of the skill Ore Discovery only discovers Iron Ores (**25z** sell value), with a **1%** chance.
> In this scenario, if two players – a knight and a blacksmith – were to farm this mob for it's loot and each killed a thousand Originsrings, the expected value of the overall loot gathered by each of them would be of **1000*0.1*3 = 300z** for the knight and **1000*(0.1*3 + 0.01*25) = 550z** for the blacksmith. This consists in a expected increase of **550/300-100% = 83.3%** provided by the Ore Discovery Skill.

With that in mind, the original version of the Ore Discovery skill does not have the same impact on oRO as it had on original classic servers and thus fails to establish a particular strength that blacksmiths were supposed to have over other classes. Since costumes don't have any stats and are style only they should be wearable by any job class. I know, that it would be very "nonofficialcustom" but we have custom hair styles, custom hair and cloth color and we even had different skin colors. Make any costume wearable by everyone seems just logical to me to have the top variety in character looks :)

* Best reason of all its super easy to add 1 item to 1 mvps drop list compared to how much it gives players to do / work for
Downside is 1 extra hard def not exactly game breaking but meh

I've chatted with other players about this who seemed to agree, that it was actually great fun and some sort of "mini event" whenever someone took 200 DBs and challenged everybody to fight the unexpected porings and bio3 mobs.
Dead Branches bring people together in that sense. They also offer a great way to explore the content of Ragnarok - all the different monsters you'd not see in your Nifflheim or Magma Dungeon party, which most people stick to.
Of course Dead Branches would (and were on old EuRO and iRO) to crash some parties. Obviously that can be annoying. But honestly, that was great fun too! Simply because it was a great interaction between players, even if done in an edgy way.
Also, if you really decide to crash too many parties with DBs, people will notice and fight back. So more DBs, more chaos and laughter, more fun.
Especially on a server with five times the usual rate, losing some %%% is no big deal. Also I understand that some people will not like it. However, I doubt that it would all end in anarchy. It has worked just fine before. It's not like nobody was ever doing any parties, because DBs were a threat.

You're probably already preparing the next patch for the next peisode, but i think it would be a good idea to change monster spawning to implement the good one.
As mentioned in some issues here, there is not a lot of good spots to level up, and setting the correct monster spawning would increase it, for example, Nine tails are a good source of experience, and they should be in pay_fild11 with dragon tails and Eddga.
But in juperos 1, with the classic monster spawning, there should be only venatu.
Well, some incoherences which could be fixed.
I don't really realize what is the time cost of this, but because there is no new map to implement, no new feature, no new class, i think it's a database update.

Different monsters could take their spots such as minorous, marduk, pasana, and/or sidewinder. If the slotted glove drop is a problem you could always reduce the drop rate so that its 0.01% chance rarer than card.
Anubis- Remove them from all but the two sphinx maps Add 8 (3 instant+ 5 with 15-20 min spawn timer) until trans comes out then shift those maps to post amatsu spawns.

The changes I'm suggesting could possibly help specific builds of priest outside of leeching in parties by giving them some options that are actually worth it. When it comes to exp/hp ratio for res killing the player wants high yields like 1x rates Anubis exp or greater. Monsters like Ancient Mummy and Anubis fit the bill on a 5x rates server but either their map is plagued by a poorly designed mvp such as Amon Ra, their spawn timer is really long not making them a viable option apart from farming drops, and/or the annoyance monsters are far too high.
