OpenMW-CS: autocomplete for the script subview
Autocomplete already exist for the console. I hope that code can easily be adapted for the script subview.
- function name autocomplete ( "addsp" -> "addspell " )
- autocomplete of an ID ( "play" -> "player" )
- autocomplete for an ID ( "player->addsp" -> "player->addspell " )
Several fitting commands/IDs/names are shown in the console above the command line. Those could be provided in the OpenMW-CS o in a mousever effect (IMO ugly and not very helpful - when you move the mouse it's gone) o in a dropdown box - like other IDEs provide o in a 10 line (configurable) subview placed below the script edit subview o in an own subview I strongly support the last or a mixture of 2 and 4. When I script I usually do not need any other subviews, maybe one for the object that's scripted but that's it.
BTW: This would actually be a nice place to contain the result of check-this-script-for-errors, too. See Feature #2619 (closed).
