Using aiactivate on an ingredient when graphical herbalism is enabled triggers non-stop pickup sounds
Using it when graphical herbalism is disabled just makes the NPC circle around the ingredient, but when its enabled triggers a non-stop pickup sound.
In Morrowind.exe using aiactivate through the console on an ingredient doesn't seem to make the NPC go to the ingredient and try to pick it up like what happens in OpenMW.
Although I don't know if anything can be done about this (other than preventing ingredients pick up when aiactivate is used); its worth noting it here.
Worth mentioning that in general aiactivate is unstable in Morrowind.exe and leads to crashes even if used properly.
