Magic items in the HUD aren't composited correctly
- Is the problem OpenMW specific or does it also happen in vanilla Morrowind?
This is specific to the OpenMW HUD.
- What version of OpenMW are you using? If you used a bleeding edge build, state the exact revision used.
OpenMW development ( f11c6679)
- Do you use any mods? If so, does the problem also occur in a clean vanilla install without any mods?
The image shows both with a magic item background texture replacer and vanilla.
- What are the exact steps to reproduce the problem? Select an enchanted item as the active spell.
Examine the active spell box in the HUD.
- What did you expect to happen? What happened instead?
The magic background and item should render under the box borders, but they are layered on top.
In vanilla, content elements are almost always clipped to their parent rects. It's not possible to overflow outside a content box by default. The OpenMW HUD template has a negative offset for the item, but it seems to draw on top of its container borders.
Example:
The vanilla version is harder to see, but there are blue pixels bleeding onto the border.
