Shadows don't cover groundcover depending on the view angle and perspective with compute scene bounds = primitives

when the shadow covers almost everything, parts of the groundcover may not have it in the first person view. Changing the view angle or switching to third person camera brings shadows back. Happens in 0.47, 0.48 RC9 and on the lastest dev version (cf9d2e0d).
