Some HQ Creatures mod models can hit the 8 texture slots limit with 0.48
- This is an issue with OpenMW loading textures (I think)
- My OS is Windows 10
- I just upgraded to OpenMW development (e1e7f3e1). The mod in question (specifically the mudcrab) works normally in 0.47
- I'm using the UESP version of morrowind
- I'm using several mods but the problem also occurs when I load only the mod in question
- I used Mod Organizer 2 to disable all of my mods, then reenabled the mudcrab replacer, then started a new game and went to the mudcrab near seyda neen lighthouse
- I expected to see my beautiful replacer, as I did in 0.47. In 0.48RC4, the mesh has been replaced but most of the texture is white. The face texture is correct, though
- No errors reported in log file
- Anywhere mudcrabs are found, though I suspect that other replacers using a similar texturing method will have the same issue
