Sounds played using PlaySound3D are cut off as the emitter leaves the cell
If using PlaySound3D to emit a sound from an actor, the sound will play till its end on Vanilla Morrowind, even if the actor leaves the cell. On OpenMW, the sound is cut off as soon as the actor leaves (I have tried this on several of this year's development builds). This may sound natural at first, but complicates scripting. In my own contributions to the Tamriel Rebuilt project, I have several times combined <NPC_name>->PlaySound3D "Door Heavy Open" with <NPC_name>->PositionCell ... to give audible feedback to the NPC leaving the room. In this way, I don't need to add a sound emitter object or give the door a unique ID, which is more convenient. On Vanilla Morrowind, this works perfectly fine, but on OpenMW the sound does not play, since the NPC is moved to a different cell. I suspect I am not the only one who is using this trick, so I would appreciate if the behaviour would be changed to what is done in Vanilla.
