Repeated bound armor effects replace current equipment, not like original

mods: only texture/mesh replacements, no content or fallback-archive in openmw.cfg
The logic of stacking bound equipment differs from Vanilla. Initially I though Vanilla's "bound equipment" behave as a stack in that when cast, the later replaces the previous and when gone, it restores the previous if still in effect, that includes normal equiped item, which is automatically re-quiped when all bound effects are gone. But I am not sure now, (see cases below) casting longer effect after shorter does not follow that pattern. One thing sure is that in OpenMW effects seem to be sorted and no precedence is kept. So, no matter the order they always get applied in the same way and when the current dispells no previous effect or item is re-equiped.
How to reproduce:
- Get Bound Helm spell from Estirdalin in Balmora Mage's Guild (lasts 60 sec). For the test, let's call it
Bound60 - Ensure your character has a helmet equiped.
- Craft Bound Helm spell of 5 seconds. For the test, let's call it
Bound5 - Cast original Bound60
- Immedialtey cast Bond5
In both engines, you end up with 2 bound helmets in the inventory, since name is the same I can't confirm which one (5 or 60) is the one currently equiped.
In Vanilla you'll see:
- After 5 seconds, a magic effect animation runs (sparkles). I suspect that's the fortify armor effect when requiping the Bound60 after Bound5 is gone.
- Afte 60, all Bound helmet effect are gone and the previous equiped helmet is re-equiped. If Bound60 is cast after Bound5, you don't see the extra animation after 5 secs. Bound60 helmet is kept in inventory but the original helmet is equiped.
In OpenMW you'll see:
- No matter the order of casting, after 5 seconds, bound helmet is removed, the 60 is kept in inventory and no original helmet is ever equiped.
