Physics calculation leading to massive FPS drops.
I noticed massive fps drops near the river south from Balmora, and apparently the Physics calculations are going very wrong there. I suspect it has to do with the massive amount of creatures generated under the hill. Once I move further from that area, the fps are back to a more normal level.
The effect are not immediate, but waiting at that place leads to rapidly increasing times for physics.
I am running with the following config:
- openMW a890c951 dev build
- compiled OpenSceneGraph 3.6.5 (OpenSuSE Tumbleweed)
On the hardware front:
- Ryzen 5 1500X
- Radeon RX 5700XT
Here in attachment are the save file, my openmw.cfg file, and 2 screenshots to add some context. I double-checked, and I don't think any mod is modifying this particular place/cell.
