Diagonal movement is noticeably slower with analogue stick
Linked video demonstrates diagonal movement with simultaneous W and A keys, followed by tilting analogue stick to the upper right as far as it will go. The analogue movement is visually and audibly slower. Tested with Xbox 360 gamepad.
