GUI texture atlasing
needed for 2 reasons:
- button mouse-over effects (showing a different image on mouseover) is only possible in MyGUI if the images are part of the same texture
- will greatly improve performance due to rendering the whole gui in a very small amount of batches
we'll probably have to pre-define the layout of those textures. would be handy to make a file format describing the contents of such a texture (images it consists of & offsets)
