missing requirements for 2nd & 3rd Life Cycle
@winter4lukas : I’m completely in for recycling and green thinking, but the 3rd life cycle phase is still very undefined for me from the standards perspective and I would suggest to postpone it a bit to the future, because this is still quite some work in progress from the TsDCs and certification perspective. E.g. I could write that our open source MRI could be reused as a piece of art or a pot for plants, dumping it in the garden. Do I get a certificate for the 3rd stage for that? That is not a hypothetical case and technically (as required by the document) correct, because there is an old MR magnet in front of the research facility that I was working in (it was reused as a piece of art).
@Moedn : Very good example :) And yes, both Life Cycle phases are yet almost undefined in the TsDC-DB. This needs to be resolved before we publish a final version of both standards.
In case we cannot define reasonable requirements, this will lead to a more fundamental decision: whether or not we want to keep Life Cycle phases in DIN SPEC 3105-1
