microG conflict between /e/ and NanoDroid builds
After installing NanoDroid some strings in the microG Settings
app had been replaced.
The name of the microG Settings
app on the homescreen and in the app drawer has been changed to no longer installed
. But I can still start the app when clicking the icon.
If I open the Android properties of the app microG Settings
(in most modern homescreen apps via long-tap and press "i"), the name of the app is being displayed as error unregistering
(should be microG Services Core
).
If I open the Self-Check
inside the app, the label of the activity (at the top) is use official server
(should be Self-Check
).
This seems like some "string confusion". Aside the described problem everything is working normal.
I installed NanoDroid-microG-23.1.2.20210117.zip
as described here using Magisk.
