NTPsec forgets to lay an egg.
Other packages, like gpsd, install Python egg-info files to describe the package.
NTPsec does not.
But eggs were never a PEP. Eggs were replaced with wheels in 2009 by PEP 376:
https://www.python.org/dev/peps/pep-0376/#one-dist-info-directory-per-installed-distribution
PEP376 says NTPsec should install a file called ntp-1.1.2.dist-info
The contents of the .dist-info file is Python Metadata Version 1.2. From PEP 345:
https://www.python.org/dev/peps/pep-0345/
This is upwardly compatible with the Metadata 1.0 that gpsd uses in its .egg-info file.
Can waf build this file? Or must it be handmade as gpsd makes its egg?
