Ignum station came into view glorious and gigantic, and instantly I was amazed. Were it not for the issues mentioned in this report, Ignum Station would likely be my favorite of all the space stations I have seen thus far. However, Ignum Station was also desolate and abandoned, with few ships to be seen, and no players on /near.

This was bad enough, but I continued on to Ignum Station, hoping to sell some items to the importers there. I landed my ship on a docking port, traveled inside, went up the gigantic elevator to the middle floor (which is the station floor), and that's when I noticed the holes.

It was terrible unto itself, however this still did not interrupt my activities at Ignum Station directly. It was probably a Re-Detect issue, or a couple of naughty troublemakers with explosives on their ships, right? I kept on walking around, looking for the Importers to take my items. While looking, I came across the for-rent player shops. Not one was taken.

And of course, adding insult to injury, a few animals are loose in the station. It was at this point that I concernedly contacted Arjuncraft2001 (a Developer, and the only staff online at the time) about the situation at Ignum Station. Arjuncraft2001 fixed up the holes (so without a rollback, their prior condition can't be seen), yet holes there were.

Arjuncraft2001 also showed me to the Importers. Unfortunately, I have no screenshots of these areas. However, I can attest that they were not NPCs, nor were they very obvious; Instead, they were chests inside of small rooms to the side of the broken hangars. Even worse, the room's entrances were somehow blocked with concrete blocks that clearly did not belong there. I do not know how these were placed; By exploit, by abuse of re-detect, by a small speeder ship with pistons, or what, but it was true of both. This was what convinced me that Ignum Station had not just been assaulted once, but rather had been abandoned and left to die for an extended period of time.
I strongly urge both the staff and the playerbase to salvage Ignum Station. It is a gorgeous place with an amazing amount of potential, and to see it squandered and dilapidated is sad. Ignum station is in need of improved protection, of economic stimulation, and of course, of use, just like all the other stations are. I understand that the Ignum system is very sparsely populated, I was not too surprised to see it empty, but to see it in the condition it is in is much more startling. I hope that this is resolved soon, not just on the surface (as was done today with repairs of existing holes), but deeper down, fixing the troubles that plague Ignum Station. Thanks.

**1)** Moons have lower gravity than their host worlds. This will mean stronger buffs and nerfs. Specifically, I was thinking about Jump Boost, and the new 1.13 effect, Slow Falling. With StarLegacy preparing to update to 1.13, Slow Falling is a great low-gravity option. Barring that, high levels of Levitation (245-254 or so) have a similar effect. Perhaps to match the increased jumping ability, a speed boost is in order. This would make moons different from planets in a very notable way.
**2)** Most moons require a space suit. Just as in real life, very very few moons have atmospheres, and fewer still have livable atmospheres. Obviously StarLegacy has a strong fantasy element, so perhaps a few livable moons are in order. However, most of them, in my opinion, ought to be rather dangerous.
**3)** Moons have physically less space than their planets. On StarLegacy, planets are a few thousand blocks long and wide. Moons should be smaller. This seems self-explanatory.
**4)** Some planets have more than one moon. Just as in real life, some planets have no moons, but many have more than one. Perhaps a couple planets could even be endowed with a large quantity of moons, to make them into likely commerce centers?
**5)** Moons are given unique resource distributions. This will make moons useful or useless in a number of ways. Perhaps some moons have resources similar to their planets, as Earth’s moon does to Earth. Perhaps some moons are barren wastelands with no use to speak of. However, perhaps a few moons have unique resources that have yet to be added to StarLegacy. Perhaps if the developers decide to add new ores (red mushroom block perhaps?), moons can be those new ores’ homes.
I hope you consider this suggestion. I think that moons would be a great addition to StarLegacy, adding new territory to colonize, new places to be, new challenges and new bounties. Also, moons exist in real life, don’t they?
