Ever since LineageOS 22.2 on nio (Moto G100/Edge S), scrolling and GUI performance in general is poor

Expected Behavior

Navigating and scrolling should be smooth and responsive.

Current Behavior

Ever since the first 22.2 build for nio, scrolling, animations, and navigating the GUI is no longer smooth. It drops a lot a frames, stutters, and is not as responsive as it should be. Clean flashing any 22.1 build solves the issue. I have clean flashed several of the 22.2 builds and all of them have this issue. Something else to note, is that there is an EvolutionX build for this devices based on unreleased LineageOS 23. The issue also happens there, however it seems to be significantly worse.

Steps to Reproduce

Simply scrolling in any app, dragging down the notifications box, will exhibit the issue. It is worse in some apps more than others. It is particularly bad in YouTube and any app that has a lot of images. I also noticed it is noticeable when scrolling in Settings > Apps.
