Phone Reboots When Using Banking UPI Apps (QR Code Scan) and Heavy Applications on LineageOS 22.1 (Redmi Note 9 Pro)
Expected Behavior
Banking UPI apps (when scanning the QR Code) and other applications (including built-in features like QR scanner or Wi-Fi login) should run without causing the phone to reboot.
Current Behavior
The phone automatically reboots in the following cases:
- When scanning a QR code in banking UPI apps.
- When logging into heavy applications.
- When using the built-in QR scanner.
- When logging into Wi-Fi.
Steps to Reproduce
- Install LineageOS 22.1 on Redmi Note 9 Pro.
- Attempt to scan a QR code using:
- A banking UPI app.
- The built-in QR scanner.
- Try logging into a heavy application.
- Attempt to log into a Wi-Fi network.
- The phone reboots unexpectedly in all these scenarios.

Additional Notes
- I know that SafetyNet is not enabled for banking apps, but still, some of them are working fine.
- Even though SafetyNet is not enabled, the phone should not reboot while using these apps or system features.
- The issue is not limited to heavy applications but also occurs when using built-in functions like the QR scanner or Wi-Fi login.
I have read the directions.
