Widgets of certain popular apps don't add to Trebuchet

Expected Behavior

I should be able to add all widgets.

Current Behavior

Hello. After I drop some widgets onto the screen, the resizable outline appears and immediately snaps to the very left top corner of the screen. But there is no content. The outline remains until I tap away, then it disappears.

Steps to Reproduce

So far I have identified two such apps, by different devs. Both are on F-Droid.

• version 1.1.0 org.fossify.calendar (eg. widget "Calendar monthly") *version 5.3.1_freenet org.breezyweather (eg. widget "Daily")

Those apps are popular and those versions of theirs are new, so I suspect the bug is in Lineage. Thank you.

I have read the directions.

Seems to be fixed in the 13 Jan update "lineage-22.1-20250113-nightly-pdx203", no issue with fossify cal 1.1.0

Found a workaround:

don't try to drag the widget from the selection screen anymore. just tap the widget and press the pop-up install button that appears
